About
Why this site exists
Most patients with Type 2 Diabetes never appeal a denied insurance claim — partly because nobody told them they could, and partly because the process feels impossible. It isn’t. The information is public; it’s just scattered, dense, and written for lawyers.
type2.wiki collects what’s useful and presents it in plain language. Today: state-by-state guidance for appealing insurance denials, and a serum-level calculator that anyone can use to model dosing. Soon: in-depth guides on common Type 2 Diabetes treatments and an AI tool to help you draft an appeal letter.
